Introduction to the Sociology of “Developing Societies”

This is the third book in a major new series which will include volumes on Latin America, Sub-Saharan Africa, East and South East Asia, Central America and the Middle East as well as further thematic volumes on the Sociology of Development.

It provides a comprehensive introduction, from a radical perspective, with new original articles specially commissioned for this volume.

While the material is systematically organised for student use, many of the articles break new ground and would be of interest to the specialist and to specialist.
